About us
Type 26 was founded by Lisa Flosznik in 1997 as a graphic design practice. Over the years, it evolved, sometimes dormant while Lisa took on various marketing roles at major technology companies, sometimes active when she returned to independent work. Today, Type 26 focuses exclusively on strategic marketing advisory, helping companies assess and strengthen their marketing foundation through rapid diagnosis and clear direction.
Cross-functional fluency
Lisa's strength comes from an unusual pairing: deep analytical thinking combined with creative and strategic instincts. Even in high school, she was torn between studying accounting and graphic design—a tension that's defined her entire career. She can read dashboards and understand technical architecture, but she also thinks visually about positioning, narrative, and brand. Most advisors operate on one side or the other. Lisa works across all of them, which means she sees gaps others miss.
Her natural curiosity allows her to diagnose quickly, even in unfamiliar industries. She asks questions others don't think to ask, connects patterns across contexts, and identifies what's missing—not just what's broken. Whether assessing marketing strategy, team structure, or operational systems, she evaluates holistically and delivers actionable priorities. She also builds relationships and earns trust fast, creating the kind of environment where people share what's really going on.
Clarity without dependency
Lisa works through rapid assessment and strategic direction. For VCs, she typically provides half- or full-day diagnostic sessions—coming into a portfolio company to evaluate what's broken across strategy, organization, and operations, then delivering clear priorities and next steps.
For founders and CEOs, she often works in an ongoing advisory capacity, meeting regularly to provide strategic guidance as situations evolve and new challenges emerge.
The focus is always on assessment, diagnosis, and direction—helping you see what needs to change and why. She may occasionally get hands-on to demonstrate or set something up, but she's not there to execute your marketing or manage your team long-term. You stay in control of your business.
There are no retainers and no long-term commitments. The relationship continues as long as it's useful and ends when it's not.
The right moment to reach out
